Wow we made it – a record number of weddings this season; each one individual and each one such a pleasure to cater at. Last week’s was at a lovely new venue for us: Brook Farm in Cuffley – and we hope to go along more often next year.
This week, we catered at John Lewis Watford’s party to celebrate 150 years of business – many congratulations to the John Lewis partnership.
Paul is in Turkey enjoying a much needed break and Vicky is in Lanzarote. The rest of us are enjoying a very busy week, catering for our new clients: PWc in St Albans and Rosemary Book-Keeping in Leavesden, as well as our much loved RNOH in Stanmore.
Ian’s daughter achieved 4 A-levels at A and A* standard – he is very proud. Sarah’s daughter is to be a mascot at Watford FC’s next home game – not sure who is most excited!
Hanson Catering is proudly sponsoring the Watersmeet Panto again this year, catering for the press launch this Wednesday.
And finally … we have upgraded our accounts system and are now paperless!!!
It’s been a great month for celebrations. We provided canapés for a 40th birthday party and barbecued for a 70th birthday. Catering for our corporate clients is always a pleasure and Citizen Machinery made Vicky and Karen feel much appreciated when they were presented with flowers at the Open House event.
Sarah is off to Florida for a (hopefully) warm and sunny break and then we’re looking forward to catering with a full barbecue at the annual RNOH Fireworks Evening in November (The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust).
And next year… we are already fully booked for Wedding catering on 25th July and 1st August and have plenty of bookings for our ‘tastings’ in 2015.
We provided the food and our client took a photo of our sandwiches! We often cater for “topping out ceremonies” for Lovell construction, locally, including the completion of a recent housing development in Northolt.
We also supplied the food for a fundraiser for the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre at MVH last Friday.
Sadly, our dear ex-colleague’s mum died at the beginning of November and we did her proud with a lovely spread for her send-off.
The period leading up to Christmas is going to be busy, with many parties, dinners and buffets already booked. We have an exciting lunch function next week but it’s top secret for now so watch this space…
